Press Release: SPIFFS 2010 Folk Fair: November 3 - 6 in Vinoy Park SPIFFS Plans November Folk Fair to in Connection With 100th Anniversary of St. Petersburg's Waterfront Parks
At the April meeting of the General Assembly of SPIFFS it was decided to have the Thirty-Sixth Annual SPIFFS Folk Fair as a part of the special celebration of the 100th anniversary of St. Petersburg's waterfront parks. On November 3rd, 4th, and 5th the Folk Fair will be open for students from schools in the Tampa Bay area, and on Saturday, November 6 it will be open to the general public. The Folk Fair has been staged on or near Tampa Bay for most of its history, first in the Bayfront Center, and more recently at Vinoy Park and Albert Whitted Park, so it makes sense to participate in this special anniversary celebration.
